Ficus carica (the plants) makes a breathtaking display of aerial greenery filling the glass dome of what was once a chapel. Tradition has it that the dome was built round the tree.

A definition of serendipity is making lucky or fortuitous discoveries completely by accident. It seems we had many of these moments in the lead-up to our photo-shoot for our upcoming Summer 2011/12 campaign; from the perfect location to our gorgeous model. While the setting is exotic, the preparation was so simple and effortless- something that happens a lot here thanks to our wonderful team. Inspired by beauty, pattern, rich colours and our usual gypsy luxe styling we had a definite vision for our collection but the way it came to be was a series of fortunate events. While you have to wait a few months to see the results of our amazing day- here are some images from far flung corners of the world that inspired our “happy little accident” of a photo-shoot.
